Aut2Run for Autism (15K, 5K, 10K, Fun-K, 1 Mile & Virtual Race)

Race Overview

We are excited to welcome you back to an in-person Aut2Run at California State University Channel Islands on Sunday, April 26th, 2026!

For those of you who can't experience Aut2Run in-person, but would still like to support Autism Society Ventura County, we will be offering a virtual option for you to participate in. This year is extra special to us as we celebrate Aut2Run's 14th anniversary!

Proceeds and Mission

• Proceeds: 100% of the proceeds from Aut2Run go directly towards fulfilling Autism Society Ventura County's (ASVC) mission.
• Mission: Empowering all with Autism to live fully.
• Promotion: ASVC promotes lifelong access and opportunity for all individuals within the autism spectrum.
• Programs: They achieve this through education, advocacy, and collaboration with other agencies.

Participating Communities

• Target Audience: Programs are primarily for individuals, families, and caregivers with people impacted by autism.
• Collaboration: Collaboration with service providers, educators, and professionals.
• Open Access: Programs are open to any individual or community member impacted by autism.
• Volunteer Board: The Board consists of dedicated volunteers.

In-Person Race Information

• 10K Run: 7:00am (1/2 Road & 1/2 Trail).
• 5K Run/Walk: 8:45am.
• 1 Mile Run/Walk: 10:15am.
• Fun-K: 10:45am (for children under age 12 and adults with special needs and their caregivers).

Important Note: Participants must complete the 10K in 75 minutes. Failure to reach the University Park Entrance in 54 minutes will result in DNF (Did Not Finish).

Virtual Race Information & Instructions

• Safe Route: Choose a local safe route for your virtual participation.
• Local Laws: Follow all local laws and be cautious at crosswalks.
• Proximity: Maintain at least 6ft distance from others not in your household.
• Race Packet: Your race packet will be mailed to you the week of the race.

Tracking Your Virtual Race

Please use a GPS watch or phone app to track your time and distance. Submit your results anytime between April 18th and May 1st at this link: https://www.aut2run.org/Race/Results/2323#resultSetId-289928:perpage:100.

Please note, submissions are based on the honor system and there are no awards for the virtual run.

Packet Pick Up Information

• Saturday Packet Pickup: April 25th 10:00am - 2:00pm at California State University Channel Islands (South Quad).
• Sunday Packet Pickup: April 26th 6:00am - 10:45am at California State University Channel Islands (South Quad).
• Arrival: Please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your event start time.
• Avoid Lines: Picking up your packet on Saturday helps avoid long lines on race morning.
