Bluffton Oyster Run 5K/10K

🏃‍♂️ Race Details

• Start Time: The race starts at 8:00AM from the Bluffton Oyster Factory.
• Course: The route winds through Historic Old Town Bluffton along the May River.
• Events: Run in a fast-paced 10K or run or walk the 5K with the entire family!
• Timing: Both events will be professionally timed by the Palmetto Running Company.

🎉 After-Party and Awards

• Celebration: After you cross the finish line, celebrate with other participants and friends.
• Presentation: Join the awards presentation immediately following the race.

💰 Registration Fees

• Costs: Registration Fees for the race are $35 for the 5K and $45 for the 10K.
• Price Increase: Prices increased October 1st.
• T-shirt Guarantee: T-shirts guaranteed if registered by October 8.
• Deadline: Registrations after Wednesday, October 8, will not include a T-shirt.

🏅 Divisions and Awards

• Age Divisions: <:12, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+
• Dogs and Strollers: Top 3 Dogs and Top 3 Strollers.
• Medals: Presented to the top male and female finishers overall, as well as top 3 finishers in each age division.

🌊 Charity Beneficiary

• Beneficiary: This year's charity beneficiary is the SCORE program.
• Focus: The South Carolina Oyster Recycling and Enhancement Program focuses on improving SC’s oyster resources.
• Volunteer Opportunities: Activities include shell bagging, constructing oyster reefs, and marsh grass restoration.

📅 Late Registration and Packet Pickup

• Thursday, Oct. 16th: 4-7PM at Wright Family Park, Bluffton.
• Friday, Oct. 17th: 3-5PM at Palmetto Running Co., 25 Minetta Lane, Bluffton.
• Race Day: At the Oyster Factory Park 6:45-7:30AM.
• Note: NO SAME DAY REGISTRATION.

🍽️ Post-Race Activities

• Fun: Run the race and join the party!
• Explore: Map out the rest of your day for food, art, and more fun at the Bluffton Arts and Seafood Street Fest.

🚗 Parking Information

• Location: Parking is available on-site at the Oyster Factory park.

• Presenting Sponsor: 5K/10K or Race Party - $5,000.
