Bluffton Oyster Run 5K/10K

🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

• Start Time: The race starts at 8:00AM from the Bluffton Oyster Factory.
• Course: Winds through Historic Old Town Bluffton along the May River.
• Events: Participate in a fast-paced 10K or run/walk the 5K with the entire family!
• Timing: Both events will be professionally timed by the Palmetto Running Company.

🎉 Post-Race Celebration

• After-Party: Celebrate with other participants and friends at the After-Party and awards presentation immediately following the race.

💵 Registration Fees

• Cost: $35 for the 5K and $45 for the 10K.
• Price Increase: Prices increased October 1st.
• T-Shirts: Guaranteed if registered by October 8th. Late registrations will not include a T-shirt.

🏅 Divisions

• Age Groups: <:12, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+
• Special Categories: Top 3 Dogs and Top 3 Strollers.

🌊 Charity Beneficiary

• Beneficiary: This year's charity beneficiary is the SCORE program.
• Description: The South Carolina Oyster Recycling and Enhancement Program focuses on improving SC’s oyster resources through volunteer activities.
• Volunteer Opportunities: Available throughout the year for all age ranges.

📅 Late Registration and Packet Pickup

• Date & Time: Thursday, Oct. 16th at 4-7PM at Wright Family Park, Bluffton.
• Date & Time: Friday, Oct. 17th at 3-5 at Palmetto Running Co. 25 Minetta Lane, Bluffton.
• Race Day: Saturday at the Oyster Factory Park 6:45-7:30AM.
• Note: NO SAME DAY REGISTRATION.

🎨 Event Day Plans

• Join the Party: Run the race and then enjoy food, art and more fun at the Bluffton Arts and Seafood Street Fest that day in Old Town.

🏆 Awards

• Medals: Presented to the top male and female finishers overall, as well as top 3 finishers in each of the 8 age divisions.
• Divisions: Include <:12, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+, Top 3 Dogs and Top 3 Strollers.

• Availability: Parking is available on site at the Oyster Factory Park.
