You are invited to join the 5K on the Runway, an exclusive 5K run celebrating DFW Airport’s 50th anniversary. This is a rare opportunity for 2,500 lucky runners to take to the runway as we celebrate our Golden Anniversary and 50 years of connecting the world. Participants will receive a commemorative medal and t-shirt for DFW’s historic 5K.

📋 Know Before You Go

- Conditioning: While this 5K is designed to be inclusive and welcoming for everyone, regardless of experience level, we encourage participants to ensure they are physically conditioned to complete the course comfortably.

- Spectators: For safety and security, only those who are registered to participate as a runners/walker will be allowed at the event and there will not be an area for spectators.

- Strollers: Baby joggers and strollers are not allowed at the event.

- Age Limit: All participants must be at least 18 years old.

- Pets: This is not a pet-friendly event, so please do not bring your fur baby.

- Packet Pickup: Participants must pick up their race packet in advance of the event. Location options are provided during registration and in the email confirmation that you will receive once you register.

- Arrival Time: The 5K starts promptly at 7:30 a.m.: however, doors open at 6:30 a.m. Please note that only those with a bib will have access to the airfield.

- Parking: Details on where to park will be posted as soon as they are available, as well as emailed to all registered participants.

- Refund Policy: Refunds are not allowed for this race. In the event of inclement weather or unforeseen operational circumstances, the 5K may be canceled for the safety of all participants.
