🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

The 15th Annual Edwardsville Turkey Trot 5k and Kids Fun Run, hosted by Edwardsville Neighbors, is scheduled for Thursday, November 28th.

The Edwardsville Turkey Trot has become a family tradition for many locals and families traveling to the area for the holiday. Regularly exceeding 1,300 participants, reaching 1,600 in 2019, the Turkey Trot is one of the region's largest - if not the largest 5k.

As the headline suggests, the in-person event is back for 2024, and we couldn’t be more excited! This year’s in-person event will be hosted on the beautiful campus of Southern Illinois University Edwardsville.

Proceeds from the event allow Edwardsville Neighbors, a registered 501(c)3 non-profit organization, to continue its mission of easing the financial burdens and providing for various needs of District 7 families in a time of crisis.
