Race History

• Did You Know? On December 31, 2010, thousands of red-winged blackbirds mysteriously fell from the skies of our small town.
• Media Coverage: The bizarre event made national headlines and happened again in 2011 on a smaller scale.
• Community Impact: Although the event was unfortunate and uncontrollable, it created quite the buzz in Beebe!

Race Details

• Annual Fundraiser: Join the Beebe Chamber of Commerce for our 7th Annual Fallin' Blackbird 5k Fundraiser!
• Proceeds: The proceeds from this event are used to fund community events throughout the year as well as scholarships for Beebe students.
• Fun Event: This fun and exciting 5k is our favorite way to kick off the entire Fallin' Blackbird Festival!
• Creative Attire: We encourage you to be creative with thematic race attire and fully enjoy the day!

Participant Perks

• Timing: The Fallin' Blackbird 5k will be professionally timed by MacDonald Timing.
• Finisher Rewards: Each participant that completes the race will receive a race t-shirt and medal!
• Placement Medals: Additionally, we will have placement medals for several age categories.
