- Reoccurrence: The bizarre event made national headlines and happened again in 2011 on a smaller scale.
- Local Buzz: Although the event was unfortunate and uncontrollable, it was an occurrence that created quite the buzz in Beebe!

- Annual Event: Join the Beebe Chamber of Commerce for our 6th Annual Fallin' Blackbird 5k Fundraiser!
- Proceeds: Funds from this event support community events throughout the year as well as scholarships for Beebe students.
- Thematic Attire: We encourage you to be creative with thematic race attire and fully enjoy the day!
- Timing: The Fallin' Blackbird 5k will be professionally timed by MacDonald Timing.

- Finisher Awards: Each participant that completes the race will receive a race t-shirt and medal!
- Age Categories: We will have placement medals for several age categories.
