Kid's Dash Fun Run

We’re so excited to introduce our Kid's Dash Fun Run! This pre-race event is the perfect opportunity for our youngest supporters to get in on the action.

• Short distance: Running approximately 400m.
• Finish line joy: Experience the joy of crossing a finish line.
• Special medal: All participants will receive a special medal to celebrate their accomplishment.
• Highlight of the day: Watching these future leaders run with all their heart.

• Time: 10:00 AM - 5K Start | 9:45 AM - Kid's Dash Fun Run
• Location: Salisbury Community Park (935 Hurley School Rd, Salisbury, NC 28147)
• Cost: $35 for 5K, $15 for kid's dash (includes a race T-shirt!)

Girls on the Run (GOTR) is a non-competitive after-school running program that includes social emotional life skills and lessons for girls in grades 3rd-8th. GOTR envisions a world where every girl knows and activates her limitless potential and is free to boldly pursue her dreams!

• Amazing volunteers: This is made possible by AMAZING volunteer coaches that are there every step of the way for 10 weeks.
• Encouragement: Coaches encourage participants and run alongside them so they can confidently cross the finish line at their End of the Season 5K!
• Accessibility: We strive to make our program accessible to all girls no matter what their financial limitations may be.
• Support participation: All proceeds from this race go towards our financial assistance to cover the cost for any girl who wants to participate in Girls on the Run!
