Guiding Light is proud to host our fourth annual 5k Run/Walk. Guiding Light is a donor-funded Christian non-profit dedicated to helping men & women recover from addiction and the associated chaos of a life consumed by substance abuse. All race proceeds support Guiding Light programming.

📅 Event Information

• Date: October 10, 2026
• Location: Millennium Park, Grand Rapids, MI
• Course: 3.1 mile loop in and around beautiful Millennium Park, starting and ending at the Grant Pavilion.
• Timing: This is a timed event! Your finish time will be recorded upon crossing the finish line.

⏰ Race Start Time

Race starts at 9 AM.

📦 Packet Pick-Up

• Start Time: Packet pick-up begins at 8 AM on the day of the event.
• Location: Under the Grant Pavilion at Millennium Park.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Family, Friends, and Dogs

• Support: Bring your family and friends to show support and enjoy refreshments.
• Snacks: Snacks and water will be provided.
• Pet Policy: Dogs are welcome but must be on a leash during the event.
• Dog Participants: Runners/Walkers with dogs will start after those without.

🎽 Race Day Swag

• Swag Bag: Each participant receives a swag bag.
• T-Shirt: A Guiding Light Strides 5K Run/Walk t-shirt will be provided.
• Registration Deadline: To guarantee a shirt in your requested size, please register by September 19th.
