On Saturday, February 22, 2025, Halifax Health will have its annual Heart & Vascular 5K Run & Walk. The race will be timed and offers an opportunity for both competitive and non-competitive runners, walkers, families, and children to participate.
🏞️ Course Details
The course will start off in front of Halifax Health’s France Tower and loop around the medical center to provide a challenging .6 mile of running/walking up the tallest, six-story parking garage in Daytona - with an amazing view of Daytona at the top! We want to get your heart pumping before you enter on to Daytona State's Campus before ending the race back at the France Tower to enjoy a heart healthy breakfast at the finish line.

Halifax Health is excited to host a 5K run to champion heart health because Your Heart Matters. We’re encouraging everyone to take that crucial step toward a healthier heart. Heart disease, sadly, remains the leading cause of death for both men and women in the United States, surpassing all forms of cancer combined.
Join us in raising awareness about heart disease and supporting Halifax Health’s mission to combat it within our community.

Every dollar raised will benefit Halifax Health Foundation, which invests in cutting-edge technology and educational resources for our dedicated Cardiology Team Members who deliver exceptional patient care.

📦 Packet Pickup
Packet Pickup will be available on Friday, February 21, from 12:00 - 5:00 pm within the France Tower Mezzanine of Halifax Health Medical Center in Daytona Beach at 303 N. Clyde Morris Blvd., or Saturday, February 22, beginning at 7:00am at the start line in front of the France Tower at Halifax Health Medical Center in Daytona Beach.
