The Legacy Color Run and Walk 5k is a fun, family event intended to raise money to support grants provided by the Little Cypress-Mauriceville Education Foundation, Inc.

Participant Information
- Shirt Guarantee: Participants who register before April 10th are guaranteed to get a free color run shirt.
- Ages 11 and Up: Compete for 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place for their age group and gender.
- Ages 10 and Under: Will receive a participation ribbon only.
About the Education Foundation
The LCM Education Foundation was established in 2002 by patrons of the Little Cypress-Mauriceville CISD, with the goal of assisting the professional educator in providing the best possible education to students of the LCM District.
Mission
The mission of the Little Cypress-Mauriceville Education Foundation, Inc. is to receive and administer gifts, and to make grants, in order to enhance teaching and learning in the Little Cypress-Mauriceville Consolidated Independent School District.
Goals
- Encouragement: Encourage students to work to their highest potential.
- Acknowledgment: Acknowledge staff for innovative efforts.
- Recognition: Recognize staff for exemplary teaching.
- Community Building: Build community awareness for the LCM Education Foundation.
Use of Donations
Donations to this 501(c)3 organization will be used to enhance the education of students in the LCM District by providing grants to educators for innovative projects not provided for in the regular school budget. These grants offer additional educational experiences to the programs funded by state and local funds.

- Honorariums: Contributions can be made in honor of someone special.
- Endowments: Long-term contributions to support the foundation.

Race Day Parking
Parking at Little Cypress Junior High will be available on race day. Please Park then walk to the start line and be mindful not to block the start/finish line and race day activities taking place at Legacy Park when parking for the event.
Race Bibs, T-Shirts, and Swag Bags
Race bibs, t-shirts, and swag bags may be picked up the day before the race at the LCM Administration Building from 9 AM to 6 PM, and on the day of the race after 7 AM.
