Midnight Special 5K

🎉 MIDNIGHT SPECIAL 5K

A Northwestern Ohio New Year':s Eve Tradition! Run in the New Year with a race that takes "Two Years to Finish!" (unless you run faster than a 5 minute mile, then it only takes one year!) A 5K race that starts on New Year':s Eve at 11:45 PM.

📍 LOCATION

Patron Saints Brewery. The course is out and back along the University Parks Trail. Starting in the back parking lot of Patron Saints, running up to the UP Trail then west towards Wildwood Metropark and back via the same route.

• Note: We will not be crossing any roads but please be aware of vehicles in Patron Saint':s parking lot.
• Lighting: The course is not lit, please wear lights.
• Course Direction: There will be small ground lights for course direction only.

💰 COST

5K ~ $40 TRRC Members receive a $5.00 discount (at checkout)

• Price Increase: $5 Price increase December 23, 2025
• Virtual Option: $55 to run with us Virtually (includes shipping costs)
• Pick-Up Option: $40 to run with us Virtually (no shipping - must pick up packet at early pickup)

🏆 AWARDS

Overall Male &: Overall Female, Overall Masters Male &: Female. No age group awards.

• Headlamp: First 160 who register will receive a TRRC headlamp.
• Pint Glass: First 150 who complete the 5K will receive a pint glass.

👕 HOODIE &: TIMING

Guaranteed Hoodie deadline is December 12, 2025. The hoodie is unisex sizing, small - XXlarge.

• Timing: This is a chip timed event.
• Water Stops: There will be no water stops along the course.
• Finish Line: Water and snacks will be provided at the finish along with other goodies.

🍻 AFTER THE RACE

Feel free to bring your own food and hang out afterward. Adult beverages will be available for purchase from Patron Saints. ID required. For those under 21, Patron Saints has homemade root beer for purchase.

📅 PACKET PICKUP &: REGISTRATION

Early packet pick up and late registration Tuesday Dec 30th 3 pm - 5:45 pm at Second Sole, Levis Commons, Perrysburg. Race day packet pickup starts at 10:30 pm and will close at 11:30 pm.

• Online Registration: Online registration only. Registration closes December 31, 2025 at 11:45 pm.
