Race Overview

Thank you for joining the Lancaster community and supporting the Lancaster High School Cross Country team! Run with the Bruins is our annual 5k fundraiser. We're glad for you to join us!

Event Schedule

• Date: 2026-10-17
• Location: Lancaster County Memorial Stadium, Lancaster, SC
• Championship Meet: This year, we will be hosting the fourth annual Lancaster County Championship Cross Country meet immediately following the 5k fundraiser.
• Encouragement: Stick around to watch these high school and middle school athletes compete!

Entry Fee and T-shirts

• Before October 1st: $20 for adults (over 18), $10 for kids (18 & under - discount will apply at checkout). Includes a t-shirt!
• After October 1st: T-shirt sizes and current design not guaranteed after this date.
• Day-of Pricing: $25 for adults (over 18), $15 for kids (18 & under).

Parking

• Parking Requirement: All participants and spectators MUST park in the LHS Memorial Stadium Visitor's Parking Lot.
• No Parking: No one will be able to park along Stadium Drive or the elementary school parking lot.
• Entrance: Use the entrance from Colonial Drive and pay attention to our volunteers to ensure the safety of all our racers.

Packet Pick-up

• When: Bibs and t-shirts will be available for pick-up the day of the race, starting at 8:15 am.
• Arrival: Please arrive early to make this process smooth and timely!

Course Map

• Access: The course map is located on the race website at this link.

Awards

• Prize Money: Top 3 male and female 5K finishers will receive prize money.
• Refreshments: Post-race refreshments will be available to all participants.
• Award Presentation: Awards will be presented around 9:45 am.
• Championship Start: We will have the County Championships starting at 10:15 am.

Results

• Availability: Results will be posted to the race website by the afternoon on race day.
