Running with the Dogs

🐕‍🦺 Race Overview

5th annual Running with The Dogs 5k benefiting the Kilgore Independent School District Education Foundation.

📍 Location & Course

• Start/End Point: The race will start and end at the Dudley Road entrance of the Creekside Trail.
• Course Type: Runners (and walkers!) from East Texas and beyond will enjoy a fast course that starts and ends on the Dudley Road entrance of the new Kilgore Creekside Trail.
• Support: Be ready to see your favorite students and athletes cheering you on along the route.

🏃‍♂️ Event Highlights

• Kids Race: Don't forget about the 1K for kids age 3-5th grade. Parents can watch the entire course!
• Prizes: Prizes will be given for winners!
• For Everyone: The Running with the Dogs 5K is a great event for groups, new runners, experienced runners looking for a PR, walkers, kids and more!

🏆 Awards & Recognitions

• Presentation: Awards will be given for 1st - 3rd overall Male and Female runners and kids race winners.

💰 Beneficiary

Funds raised through the Running with the Dogs race benefit the Kilgore Independent School District Education Foundation. The mission of the Education Foundation is to endow and enhance the educational experience of students by providing financial support for district-wide programs and activities.

🕖 Schedule

• 7:00 am: Packet Pickup
• 8:00 am: Kids 1K race (more heats will be added if necessary)
• 8:40 am: 5k Race/Fun Run/Walk
• 10:00 am: Awards
