Running with the Dogs

Event Overview

5th annual Running with The Dogs 5k benefiting the Kilgore Independent School District Education Foundation.

The race will start and end at the Dudley Road entrance of the Creekside Trail.

Race Features

• Entertainment: An amazing DJ and more will be present!
• Course: A fast course starting and ending on the Dudley Road entrance of the new Kilgore Creekside Trail.
• Support: Runners and walkers will be cheered on by students and athletes along the route.
• Kid's Race: Don't forget the 1K for kids age 3-5th grade. Parents can watch the entire course!

Participation Details

• Inclusivity: Great event for groups, new runners, experienced runners, walkers, and kids.
• Prizes: Prizes will be given for 1st - 3rd overall Male and Female runners and kids race winners.

Beneficiary Information

Funds raised through the Running with the Dogs race benefit the Kilgore Independent School District Education Foundation. The mission of the Education Foundation is to endow and enhance the educational experience of students by providing financial support for district-wide programs and activities.

Race Schedule

• 7:00 am: Packet Pickup
• 8:00 am: Kids 1K race (more heats will be added if necessary)
• 8:40 am: 5k Race/Fun Run/Walk
• 10:00 am: Awards ceremony
