Race Description

Get ready to lace up your sneakers—or your superhero boots—for a morning of fun, fitness, and making a difference at the East Texas CASA Superhero 5K & Fun Run! This annual fundraiser directly supports East Texas CASA and the dedicated volunteer advocates who stand beside children navigating the foster care system in Gregg, Rusk, and Upshur counties.

Race Options

• 5K Run: Perfect for runners looking for a timed challenge. The route is open to all ages and abilities, with plenty of encouragement along the way.
• Fun Run: Great for kids, families, and anyone who wants to enjoy the fun at their own pace. A shorter course with the same big impact!

Participants Perks

• T-Shirt: All participants will receive a fun Race Day T-shirt if you sign up by August 31, 2026.
• Family-Friendly: Join us for family-friendly fun in a supportive, community-focused environment.
• Costumes: Costumes are highly encouraged: cape or no cape, everyone has the power to change a child’s story. Come dressed as your favorite superhero or create your own!
• Proceeds: All proceeds from this event benefit East Texas CASA, helping us recruit, train, and support volunteer advocates who speak up for children in foster care. Your participation helps give a voice to those who need it most.
