Super Hero 5K/Kids Fun Run/Walk

🏃‍♂️ Race Schedule

• Shirts Deadline: Shirts not guaranteed after 10/18/2024.
• 5K Race: 7:30 a.m.- 8:45 a.m.
• Kids Fun Run: (FREE FOR CHILDREN) - 9:00 a.m.- 9:30 a.m. Sponsored by Optum.
• Entry Fees: Early Bird: $25, After September 1st: $35.

🏅 Event Details

• Date: The Super Hero 5K/Kids Fun Run/Walk will be held on September 27, 2025, beginning at 7:30 a.m. CT.
• Proceeds: Benefits cancer patients at Mitchell Memorial Cancer Center.
• Prizes: Awards for the overall male and female winner in each age division.
• Registration: Shirts and sizes guaranteed if registered by September 1, 2025.

👦 Kids Fun Run

• Distance: Kids Fun Run (1/2 mile) is FREE but limited to the first 200 kids.
• Registration: Advanced online registration is required to participate.
• Benefits: Participants receive a T-shirt, a finisher's medal, and a chance to win a new bike and a $500 wellness grant for their school.
• Shirt Size: Please include shirt size when registering.

🦸‍♂️ Super Hero Walk

• Team Participation: Gather a team to support a loved one: dress up as your favorite Super Hero!
• Team Fees: $25 per team member, with an optional fundraising goal of $500 to support the cancer center.
• Registration: Learn more about the Super Hero Walk and register here: www.owensborohealth.org/superheroes.
• Fundraising: Set up your own personal online fundraising campaign for Mitchell Memorial Cancer Center at https://www.justgiving.com/campaign/ohfsuperhero.

📅 Packet Pickup

• Location: Owensboro Healthpark, 1006 Ford Ave, Owensboro, KY 42303.
• Packet Pickup: November 1st, 2024 from 11:00am - 1:00pm and 4:00pm - 6:00pm CDT.
• Race Day Pickup: 6:30am - 7:15am CDT on November 2nd, 2024.
• Check-in Times: 5K Packet pickup: 6:30 a.m. - 7:15 a.m., Kids' Fun Run: 7:30 - 8:45 a.m., Survivor Walk/Team Check-In: 9:30 a.m.- 10:20 a.m.

🏆 Awards

• Categories: Awards for 1st and 2nd place Male and Female in each age category.
• Winners: Overall Male and Female winners will be awarded separately.
• Age Groups: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+.
