The Chili Run - January

Race Monitoring

• Monitoring: We will be monitoring the Winter Storm as it gets closer to race day.
• Cancellation: If it is deemed necessary to cancel the race on Sunday, emails will be sent out on Friday by 3 PM.
• Reschedule: In this case, we will plan to have the race 1 week later on Sunday February 1st.

Event Overview

• Event: The Hottest Winter Run is Back!!! Sunday, Jan. 25, 2026 (1st date of 2 options).
• Location: Finish with a cup of Chili and Beer at the popular Carolina Blue Smokehouse & Taproom!
• Charity Partner: HEADstrong Foundation is the Charity Partner for this race. Info Here: www.HEADstrong.org.

Registration & Participation

• Season: Join us for the Chili Run as we enter our 14th season! Register early to guarantee your spot.
• Timing: Chip-timed with Instant results and awards. Race starts at 10 AM. (Start & Finish at Carolina Blue).
• Inclusions: All runners will receive a cup of Chili (Vegetarian Option available), Custom Chili Run shirt, and a Beer! (or Soda) Upgrade to Long Sleeve Tech Tee for $6 extra during online registration. (Please sign up by Jan. 12th to guarantee first choice of shirt size/style).
• Team Participation: Join as an individual or as part of a team! We will have awards for both!

Awards

• Overall Awards: Awards for Top 3 Male and Female Overall and Age Groups 14 & under, 15-19, 20-29, every 10 yrs.
• Team Awards: Team Awards are based on the top 4 finishers (minimum 1 female)!

After-Party & Packet Pickup

• After-party: After-party with DJ. Many menu and bar options available so stay to enjoy the cozy and fun atmosphere!
• Packet Pickup: Packet Pick up on race day at Carolina Blue: 8:45 - 9:40 AM. Pre-race day PPU date TBD.
