The Sudbury Road Race

🏃‍♂️ About Our Race

• Event: The Sudbury Road Race event includes a 5-kilometer race (walkers welcome) and a 1-mile fun run (all ages welcome).
• Location: Both races begin and end at Ephraim Curtis Middle School, 22 Pratts Mill Rd. Sudbury, Massachusetts.
• Schedule: The fun run begins at 10am, with the 5k beginning at 10:30am.

🏛️ Fundraising Purpose

• Beneficiary: This event is a fundraiser for the Sudbury Historical Society History Center and Museum.
• Project Completion: The Sudbury Historical Society has finished its most ambitious project to create the Sudbury History Center and Museum.
• Facility Features: The new facility allows safe storage and exhibition of collections, accommodating growing membership, facilitating research, and providing accessible historical resources.
• Vision: Creating an inclusive, active, multifunctional facility for all ages in the town-owned Loring Parsonage.

💰 Pricing

• 1 Mile Fun Run: $15.00.
• 5K Early Bird: $25.00 early bird through 10/15/24.
• 5K Regular Pricing: $30 after 10/15/24 until online registration closes on 11/9/23 at 11:59 pm: Race day registration $35.00.
• Incentives: Free t-shirt for signing up before October 1st: Kids receive a large sticker 'medal': Veterans get a $5.00 discount with code "Vet23".

🥇 Medals

• Top Finishers: Medals will be awarded to the top three finishers in each race.
• Categories: Medals for men’s and women’s top three in the 5K, and the top three in the 1 mile.
