Online Registration for the 5K is closed! We are blessed with the most signups (by far) we have had in a long time - and the race cohort - 350 5K runners, 60 1/2 mile runners and 120 100 meter dashers is about all we can manage!

We are so excited to welcome back our 16th Annual South Boston Catholic Academy Road Race on Saturday December 13th, 2025!

The Jingle Bell Run is a South Boston tradition and we hope you join us this year!

We have two youth races to start us off followed by a 5 km course along scenic South Boston beaches and Castle Island.

After the race there will be refreshments to go along with the awards and entertainment.

📝 Registration Details

Registration is open and a classic South Boston Catholic Academy Jingle Bell Run long-sleeve t-shirt will be given to the first 250 Registrants and everyone registered by Sunday, November 30th!

• Earlybird Price: $30 (ends Sunday November 23)
• Pre-registration: $35 (ends Friday December 12)
• Day Of Registration: $40

👶 Youth Races

9:00 a.m. – 100 Meter Dash (9 years and under)
9:30 a.m. – ½ Mile Race (14 years and under)

• Youth Registration: $15 (any time)
• Multiple Events: Youth who wish to run the 100 meter and the 1/2 mile need only register once!

🏞️ Course Information

Fast and flat 5 km along scenic Castle Island and beaches of Day Boulevard.

📦 Number Pick-Up

Numbers can be picked up starting at 8AM on the day of the race.

Numbers will also be Available for EARLY PICK-UP on
Friday December 12th from 6:00-8:00 pm at

🚗 Parking Information

Parking is available along the adjacent streets and beach area, which is within 2-3 blocks of South Boston Catholic Academy. Resident parking is NOT in effect on Saturdays.

1st, 2nd, 3rd Place Overall.

Medals to all finishers in the 1/2 Mile Race.

100 METER DASH (9 YEARS AND UNDER)

💵 Refund Policy

We appreciate and understand that unexpected circumstances present themselves constantly. However, if you have registered for the race and are unable to attend, we kindly request that your race fee be considered a donation to our school, as this event is one of our most critical fundraisers of the year, and our success is extremely reliant upon the number of registered runners. Thank you so much for considering your race fee a donation to the school in your absence. As always, we are so grateful for your support!
