This November, gear up for the Turkey Shuffle, the premiere race of our exciting new series, set against the stunning backdrop of Flat Creek Estate in the Texas Hill Country. This premier wine destination, known for its epic eighty-acre estate, offers a one-of-a-kind experience with its Tuscan-inspired tasting room, full-service restaurant, The Bistro at Flat Creek Estate, covered outdoor pavilion, working vineyard and winery, 18-hole disc golf course, walking trails, and more.

Event Details

• Race Distances: Choose from a 1-mile jaunt, a 5-kilometer challenge, or a 10-kilometer trek.
• Kids Dash: A fun sprint of approximately 50 meters for children aged 10 and under.
• Music: DJ Sasquatch will keep you energized with the best music.
• Awards: Every runner will receive age group awards to celebrate achievements.

Costume Contest

The costume contest at the Turkey Shuffle is going to be a spectacular highlight you won’t want to miss! Unleash your creativity and dazzle us with your most fabulous Thanksgiving-themed outfit. Whether you’re rocking a turkey tutu, a pilgrim’s hat, or an inventive feast-inspired ensemble, this is your chance to shine.

• Prize: Winner will receive a "Biggest Turkey" trophy.
• Prize Pack: Includes a certificate for 2 free future races, a $40 HEB gift card, and a special Bigfoot Running Company Swag Pack.

Event Amenities

• Medals and Shirts: All finishers of all distances will receive a medal and shirt.
• Snacks and Refreshments: Available at the race rally tent.
• Aid Stations: Will be on the course to provide water and assistance.
• Focus on Experience: Dedicated to making your race fun, safe, and exciting.

Race Distances Offered

• Kids Dash: A non-timed event for kids 10 and under, includes a tee shirt, race medal, and recognition pin.
• 1 Mile: Designed for all ages and experience levels, includes a tee shirt and race medal.
• 5K: Chip-timed race featuring overall trophies and age group awards.
• 10K: Chip-timed race with overall trophies and age group awards.

Event Schedule

• Packet Pickup: 9:30-10:45am
• Kids Dash Start: 10:55am
• National Anthem and Race Start: 11:00am
• Awards: Announced immediately following your finish!

Volunteer Opportunities

Join us as a volunteer and receive a custom chip-timed bib, super soft tee, and an awesome finisher medal while participating in the 5K run.

• Course Monitor: Help ensure runner safety, interact with participants.
• Water Station: Prepare water cups and cheer on participants.
• Finish Line Helper: Assist with finish line tasks.
• Bigfoot Mascot: Wear our costume and cheer on runners.

Race Conditions

• Weather: Bigfoot races proceed rain, shine, hot or cold.
• Packet Pickup: Offered for 1.5 hours before event start time.
• Running Surfaces: Expect mixed surfaces including dirt paths and grass.
