• Event: United Way of the Eastern Panhandle Turkey Trot 5k
• Date: November 27, 2025
• Location: 3274 Hedgesville Rd, Martinsburg, WV
• Details: All ages welcome! The 5k will be run on the property of James Rumsey Technical Institute, featuring trail, grass, and pavement that is mostly flat with some gentle hills.

🎁 Give Thanks, Give Back

• Donation: Bring a donation for the local backpack programs.
• Collection: Donations will be collected in the registration area and distributed to local backpack programs for the holiday backpacks.
• Proceeds: Any proceeds from the event will be used for youth-focused initiatives.
• Spirit: Show your Turkey Trot spirit by coming out in festive attire!

🌧️ Race Day Information

• Weather: Race will be run rain or shine!

🏆 Age Group Results

• Overall Winners: Overall Top 1 Man and Woman will be excluded from age group recognition.
• Age Categories: 14 and under, 15-24, 25-34, 35-44, 45-54, 55-64, 65+

📝 Registration Details

• Early Registration: Fee by November 10 - $30 with a long sleeve t-shirt.
• Post Deadline: Registration Fee after November 10 - $40 with no guarantee of a t-shirt.
• Race Day Registration: Register at James Rumsey from 7:15 AM – 8:15 AM or online until 30 minutes before the race - $40 with no guarantee of a t-shirt.

📦 Packet Pick-Up

• Wednesday, November 26: 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM at the United Way office, 24 District Way, Suite 201, Martinsburg, WV 25414.
• Race Morning: 7:15 AM - 8:15 AM at the venue.
