Wendy's Walk/Run for Hope

🌟 Event Details

• Date and Time: October 11, 2025, at 10 AM
• Location: Conotton Creek Trail in Jewett, OH
• Distance: A flat and fast 5k utilizing a local rails to trails path
• Purpose: Money raised helps offset expenses for those diagnosed with breast cancer

📜 History

• Started: In 2012 by Wendy Ledger to give back to the community
• Motivation: Wendy was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer in 2008 and survived
• Growth: Initially a simple 5k, now includes food vendors, a car show, and a quarter auction
• Impact: Helping those in the community through challenging times

👕 T-Shirts

• Sizes: Adult Small to X-Large, plus a No T-Shirt option
• Registration: Register early to guarantee a t-shirt
• Availability: Limited selections will be available as the event date approaches
• Deadline: Guaranteed T-Shirt entries before 10/1!

• 8:30 AM: Packet Pickup & Race Day Registration
• 10:00 AM: 5K Run/Walk & Competitive Walk Start
• 11:30 AM: Awards (after last finisher)

• 5K Run/Walk: Top 5 Male and Female Overall
• Age Groups: Top 1 Male and Female in age brackets 14-Under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, & 70-Over
• Competitive Walk: Top 5 Male and Female Overall
• Age Groups: Same age brackets apply as above
