RUNWAY 5K & 1M KIDS FUN RUN for the IGD Competition Team

✈️ EVENT INFORMATION

• Date: Join us on the evening of Sat, Nov 1, 2025.
• Location: Summerland Key, FL at a private airfield during the annual Fly-In Event.
• Unique Experience: Participants will be treated to displays of various unique aircraft along the course, including private planes, helicopters, and more!
• Great Cause: Proceeds from this event support the Island Groove Dance Junior Level Competition Dance Team.

🏃‍♂️ REGISTRATION

• Online Registration: Ends Thursday, 30 October.
• Late Registration: Available Fri, 31 Oct and Sat, 1 Nov in specified locations.
• Fees: $25-$35 for adults: $15-$25 for youth 17 & under. The 1M Kids Fun Run is $15-$20.
• Participant Limit: 75 for the 5K Run/Walk and 35 for the 1M Kids Fun Run.

📋 BIB/PACKET PICK UP

• When: Friday, 31 Oct and Saturday, 1 Nov at designated times and locations.
• Location: 185 Airport Dr N and across from 528 Airport Dr S during the Fly-In Event.

🏁 COURSE

• Kids Fun Run: Starts promptly at 5:00 pm ON THE RUNWAY.
• 5K Run/Walk: Begins after the Kids Fun Run Awards Ceremony: course includes various terrains.
• Support: One Aid Station will provide water and electrolytes.
• Guidance: Clearly marked route with cones, signs, and volunteers.

🎁 GIVEAWAYS

• Items: Both events will feature great giveaways.
• Registration: Early registrants will receive a RACE SWAG REVEAL email.

🏆 AWARDS

• Kids Fun Run: Awards for Overall Boy and Girl Finishers.
• 5K Run/Walk: Timed event with multiple awards categories for overall and age group performers.
• Categories: Including Child, Youth, Adult, and Senior Grand Masters.

⚖️ RULES &: REGULATIONS

• Runway Rules: Closed from 5:00 - 6:00 PM, no crossing before or after.
• Course Knowledge: Responsibility of the runner to know the route.
• Registration: No unregistered participants allowed.
• Cleanliness: Absolutely NO LITTERING on the course.
