🏃‍♂️ 5K Race Details

• Finish Line: Finish inside the stadium with all the Triathletes and get a finisher's Medal and post party FUN.
• T-Shirt: All 5K participants also get an Old College Tri shirt.

🏊 Old College Tri Competition

• University Spirit: The Old College Tri returns with participants from various universities like A&M Aggies, TCU Horned Frogs, Texas Longhorns, and more.
• Dress Code: BRING IT race day in your college gear!
• Swim Course: The swim will be in the Lazy River with a distance of 245 yards.
• Enjoyment: Get ready to jump in and enjoy a push straight to the exit!

🏆 Team Competition

• Team Categories: Teams for male, female, and coed are allowed, and this is not a relay.
• Combined Times: All three disciplines (Swim, Bike, Run) times will be added together for scoring.
• Trophies: The team with the lowest time wins a team trophy.
• Awards Eligibility: You can sign up as a team and still be eligible for overall and age group awards.

🏅 40 Yard Dash

• Age Group Champion: There will be a 40 yard dash champion in each age group.
• Sprinting Opportunity: Save a little energy for the end and be the sprint champion in your age group.
• First Place Trophies: Awards for each age group champion will be given.

☔ Weather Policy

• Delay Clause: In the event of inclement weather, the start time of this event may be delayed by up to 1 hour.
• Course Changes: The event course may be shortened or altered to protect the participants.
• Cancellation Risk: If conditions turn unsafe, the event may be cancelled at the discretion of the Race Director.
• Participant Understanding: Thank you for your understanding of these policies and we appreciate your participation.
