Old College Tri & 5K

Event Overview

• Finish Line: Finish inside the stadium with all the Triathletes and get a finisher's Medal and post party FUN.

Participation Details

• 5K Participants: All 5K participants also get an Old College Tri shirt.
• Team Competition: Teams for male, female, and coed. This is not a relay: total times for swim, bike, and run determine the winning team.
• Awards: Teams will compete for trophies, but individual participants are still eligible for overall and age group awards.
• 40 Yard Dash: There will be a sprint champion in each age group with first place trophies.

• School Pride: Join fellow alumni from numerous colleges including A&M, TCU, Texas, and others, and bring your college gear!
• Swim Course: The swim will take place in the Lazy River: swim distance is 245 yards.
• Community: Enjoy the camaraderie and competitive spirit of this unique event.
• Fun Factor: Expect a fun and exciting atmosphere as participants bring their best competition and college pride!

Weather Policy

• Inclement Weather: Start time may be delayed by up to 1 hour in case of bad weather.
• Course Alterations: The event course may be shortened or altered for safety reasons.
• Cancellation: If conditions become unsafe, the event may be cancelled at the discretion of the Race Director.
• Safety First: We aim to produce a safe event, and sometimes adjustments are necessary due to weather.
