Old College Tri & 5K

🏃‍♂️ 5K Race Details

• Finish Line: Finish inside stadium with all the Triathletes and get a finisher's Medal and post party FUN.
• Participation Perk: All 5K participants also get an Old College Tri shirt.

🎓 College Spirit

• Returning Tradition: The Old College Tri returns with participants from A&M Aggies, TCU Horned Frogs, Texas Longhorns, and more.
• Dress Code: BRING IT race day in your college gear and show support for your alma mater.

🌊 Swim Competition

• Swim Location: The swim will be in the Lazy River.
• Distance: Swim distance will be 245 yards.
• Experience: Get ready to jump in and enjoy a push straight to the exit!

🏅 Team Competition

• Team Structure: Teams for male, female, coed - not a relay.
• Awards: Team with the lowest time wins a team trophy: still eligible for overall and age group awards.
• Fun Factor: A fun way to compete and have bragging rights as a team champion.

🏁 40 Yard Dash

• Championship: There will be a 40 yard dash champion in each age group.
• Strategy: Save a little energy so you can sprint at the end and be the sprint champion.
• Awards: First place Trophies for each age group champion.

☔ Weather Policy

• Delays: In the event of inclement weather, the start time of this event may be delayed by up to 1 hour.
• Course Changes: The event course may be shortened or altered to protect participants.
• Cancellation: If conditions turn unsafe, the event may be cancelled at the discretion of the Race Director.
• Safety First: We strive to produce a full and safe sporting event, but weather can affect those plans.
