Old College Tri & 5K

Race Overview

5K - Finish inside stadium with all the Triathletes and get a finisher's Medal and post party FUN. All 5K participants also get an Old College Tri shirt.

Swimming Segment

The swim will be in the Lazy River. The swim distance will be 245 yards. Get ready to jump in and enjoy a push straight to the exit!

Team Competition

• Team Categories: Male, Female, Coed
• Team Format: This is not a relay: all three disciplines (Swim, Bike, Run) times are combined.
• Awards: Teams compete for a trophy based on the lowest time.
• Eligibility: Team members are still eligible for overall and age group awards.

40 Yard Dash

There will be a 40 yard dash champion in each age group. Save a little so you can sprint at the end and be the sprint champion in your age group. First place Trophies for each age group champion.

Weather Policy

• Start Delay: In the event of inclement weather, the start time of this event may be delayed by up to 1 hour.
• Course Alterations: If needed, the event course may be shortened or altered to protect participants.
• Cancellation: If conditions turn unsafe, the event may be cancelled at the discretion of the Race Director.
• Commitment: We strive to provide a full and safe sporting event, but weather conditions can sometimes affect those plans.
