7th DQ Dash for Fireworks 5k & 1m Fun Walk

🎉 History

During the Summer of 2017 a public-private collaboration of business owners, Lewes citizens, and representatives of the City of Lewes decided to form an organization to bring official fireworks back to the city of Lewes. We believe that safe and legal fireworks along our beach is the perfect ending to the Lewes' Old Fashioned Fourth of July festivities, which include games on Second Street, a boat parade on the canal, and the Lewes Doo Dah Parade. Fireworks on the beach are a perfect way to end this family-friendly day. Go Fourth! was formed to bring this to fruition.

Go Fourth! is jointly managed by the Go Fourth! committee of volunteers, the Lewes Chamber of Commerce, and the City of Lewes. The Go Fourth! Fund donations are tax-deductible.

We invite you to participate in the 7th annual DQ Dash 5k. This event will benefit the Go 4th Lewes Fireworks Fundraiser. Join the Striders at DQ on Sunday, May 18th at 9 am for a fun safe 5k. Run or walk in this event for a great cause!

📝 Race Registration Info

• Early Bird: $25 each for 5k Run/1m walk through May 11th at midnight
• Race Week: $30 each for 5k Run/1m walk through May 17th at 10 pm
• Race Day: $35 each for 5k Run/1m walk from 8-8:50 am

• Course Etiquette:
  • ALL PARTICIPANTS ARE REQUIRED TO RUN ON THE COURSE THAT IS MARKED WITH ARROWS AND CONES.
  • PLEASE STAY ON THE ROAD WHERE IT IS MARKED AND POLICE ARE STATIONED
  • FAILURE TO FOLLOW THESE RACE INSTRUCTIONS COULD RESULT IN A DISQUALIFICATION FROM THE EVENT.

People with COVID-19 have had a wide range of symptoms reported – ranging from mild symptoms to severe illness. Runners with any of these symptoms may have COVID-19 and SHOULD NOT attend this event:
