🏃‍♀️ About the Race

• Event: One of the greatest destination half marathons in North Carolina! Asheville is truly an American treasure and a running destination with great shopping and world-class beer, arts, and dining.
• Courses: The 11th Annual Asheville Half Marathon - 10k - 5K begins and ends in Pack Square on August 23, 2025 at 7AM, covering some of the best parts of Asheville.
• Scenery: Runners will enjoy beautiful homes, mountains, and attractions, all bordering the Blue Ridge Parkway!
• Challenge: Participants love the challenge of racing through the hills in Asheville at one of the best times to visit with great weather and beautiful fall colors.

• Location: Starting and finishing at Pack Square, 80 Court Plaza, Asheville, NC 28801
• Start Times:
  • 7:00 AM – HALF MARATHON & 10K
  • 7:05 AM - 5K
  • 8:30 AM - 11:00 AM AWARDS CEREMONY
• Registration: The Asheville Half Marathon is capped at 2500 participants. There will be NO RACE DAY Registration, so sign up early! ALL registration ends August 22, 2025.

📍 Packet Pick Up

• Date: Friday, August 22nd, 2025: 2:00PM – 7:00PM

📏 Course Information

• Route: The 13.1 Asheville Half Marathon and 10K begins and ends in Pack Square, running through the streets of Asheville and along the French Broad River.
• Pacing: The pace groups will be 1:35, 1:45, 2:00, 2:15, 2:30, and 2:45.
• Timing: SVE Timing Services will time the event using RM Timing Systems. Participants will receive their timing tags during packet pick up.
• T-shirts: Guaranteed for participants who sign up before August 1st, choice of men’s or women’s cut shirt.

🎖️ Awards

• Divisions: Overall, Masters, 12 and under, 13-18, 19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75+.
• Top Finishers: Awards for top 3 males and females in all divisions for half marathon, top 2 for 10K, and top 1 position for all divisions in the 5K.
• Claiming Awards: Awards will be given during the ceremony around 10am. Unclaimed awards will not be shipped.
• Right to Change: Sisu Events reserves the right to modify awards based on participation.

🚫 Policies

• Refunds & Transfers: Registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. You can transfer into the Virtual Event until August 10th, 2025.
• Time Limits: 3:00 hour time limit for the Half Marathon, 1:45 limit for the 10K.
• Pets & Strollers: For safety, dogs and strollers will NOT be allowed at the event.
• Water Stops: Water and portos will be provided roughly every 2 miles during the run.

🌦️ Weather Policy

• Conditions: Races are held, rain or shine, unless conditions are too dangerous.
• Cancellations: If canceled, there will be no refunds or transfers.
• Safety: In case of emergencies, participants may be allowed to run on sidewalks to finish.
• Event Rights: Sisu Events can alter or cancel portions of the race due to inclement weather.

• Accessibility: Many hotels within walking distance and/or offering shuttles to downtown Asheville.

• Post Race: Finish Festival will be held from 7:30 AM to 12:00 noon with entertainment, vendors, and food.
• Entertainment: Live music at the Start and Finish line to energize runners and maintain the fun!
