Event Description: The Dancing Lights of Christmas returns for its 16th consecutive season. The Dancing Lights 5k Fun Run/Walk is hosted by The Dancing Lights of Christmas and Fleet Feet Mt Juliet/Nashville. Enjoy all the magic of the dancing lights in this family friendly 5K Fun Walk/Run! You will run amidst 2 million lights, timed to all your holiday favorites. The race will end at Santa's Village for some hot chocolate and goodies.
Santa's Village: Opens at 4 pm. The event will officially begin at 7pm with the race starting shortly after.
Parking: We ask that you are parked and in the starting corral by 7pm. Due to the number of participants, traffic during parking is inevitable. Please plan accordingly!
Registration Info
Early Registration: August 1 - September 30 - $40 ages 13 & up: $30 for ages 6-12: kids 5 & under are free (no sweatshirt).
Late Registration: October 1 - November 6 - $45 ages 13 & up: $35 for ages 6-12: kids 5 & under are free (no sweatshirt).
Event Hoodies: Logo’d event hoodies are available on a First Come, First Serve basis. You will be able to select a size during the registration process.
Important Note: Once a certain size has run out, you will no longer be able to select that size. Once all sweatshirts have run out, you will only be able to select "No Sweatshirt".
Course Information
Strollers: Please be advised, strollers are not recommended for this run as the course is not fully paved, largely made up of gravel.
Child Supervision: Children are to stay with parents at all times.
Re-entry Policy: Upon completion of your race, you will not be able to re-enter the course due to liability and for your safety.
Timing: This is an un-timed fun run, there will be no chip timing for runners. There will be a rolling clock at the finish line for you to check your time as you cross.
Pets & Safety
Pet Policy: While we love pets, they will not be permitted on the course of the Dancing Lights 5k.
Safety Considerations: With the race taking place after dark, we have to first think about the safety of all runners/walkers.
Registration Note: Please note there will be no race day registration and no packet pick up at the event. Please arrange to pick your packet up prior to the run.
Proceeds & Cancellations

Weather Policy: In the event of a weather cancellation, your race entry fee will be considered a donation. There will be no refunds for this run/walk.
