Location: Sunrise start at Main Beach Park, 32 N. Fletcher, Fernandina Beach, FL

🏖️ Course Details

Wrap up the holiday season and start your new year off right by joining the Amelia Island Runners for our 2nd Annual Cannon Ball Run on scenic Amelia Island.

• Course Length: The fun 5k and half marathon courses will take you through the sights of Amelia Island.
• Final Miles: The final miles of the half marathon course will take you through one of the most beautiful and historic roads through Ft. Clinch State Park.
• Starting Point: The race will start and finish at the oceanfront Main Beach Park just steps from the sand.

🎽 Participant Perks

• Shirts: All participants who register by 12/15 will receive a long sleeved performance shirt. After that date, sizing and availability are not guaranteed.

📦 Packet Pickup

• Friday, January 2nd, 2026: Noon to 6pm (for those registered by 12/29/25 at 11:59pm) at Game Changers Running Company, 1881 S 14th St #5, Fernandina Beach, FL 32034.
• Race Day: Saturday, January 3th – 6:30am at Main Beach Park.
• Advance Pickup: Runners are encouraged to pick up their packets prior to race day to avoid delays at the event.

🏅 Awards

Medals will be awarded to each finisher.

• Overall Awards: Overall Male and Female awards will be presented.
• Age Groups: Age group awards for the 5k will be in 10-year age categories: the half-marathon will have awards in 5-year age categories.

❓ FAQs

• Parking: Event parking is available in the lots around Main Beach Park.
• Post Race Food: Join us for the post-race celebration in the park. Food and drinks will be available to registered race participants.
• No Refunds: We are unable to accommodate any transfers or deferrals. Absolutely no refunds.
• Water Stops: Water stops will be available on both the 5k and half-marathon courses.
• Strollers: Runners are allowed to push strollers during the race. Please start at an appropriate location for your pace.
• Pets: For your safety, pets are not allowed on the course.
