The Amelia Island Runners present the Cannon Ball Run on January 4, 2025, on beautiful Amelia Island. Sunrise start at Main Beach Park, 32 N. Fletcher, Fernandina Beach, FL.

• Date: January 4, 2025
• Location: Main Beach Park, Fernandina Beach, FL
• Course: Fun flat 5k and half marathon
• Finish: The final miles are through Ft. Clinch State Park

📋Packet Pickup

• Days: Thursday, January 2nd and Friday, January 3rd, 2025 – Noon to 5pm
• Location: Game Changers Running Company Amelia Island, 1881 S 14th St #5, Fernandina Beach, FL 32034
• Race Day Pickup: Saturday, January 4th – 6:30am at Main Beach Park
• Note: Packet available on race day only for those registered by 12/29/24

🏅Course Information

The Cannon Ball Run course is similar to the historic Reindeer Run course that AIR staged for 10 years. The course features:

• Scenic Route: Historic and scenic sights of the island
• Terrain: Primarily on paved city streets with a grass trail segment
• Course Map: Click here for the map
• Time Limit: Course will close 3.5 hours after the start

🏆Awards

Medals and awards will be presented as follows:

• Medals: Awarded to each finisher
• Overall Awards: Top Male and Female
• Age Group Awards: 10-year categories for 5k and 5-year categories for half-marathon
• Example: Women age 30-39 for 5k, age 30-34 for half-marathon

• Parking: Available around Main Beach Park: respect private properties
• Post-Race Celebration: Food and beverages for registered participants
• Refunds: No transfers, deferrals, or refunds allowed
• Water Stops: Available on both courses

• Port-a-Potties: Available at Main Beach Park and along the courses
• Strollers: Allowed: please start at an appropriate pace location
• Pets: Not allowed on the course for safety
