St. John's Waltz Applefest 5K/10K Run

Event Overview

The St. John's Waltz Applefest 5K/10K Run will take place on October 4, 2026, at the corner of Hannan Rd and Huron River Drive, New Boston, MI. For full event details, please visit our website https://stjohnsapplefestrun.weebly.com/.

Registration

• Early Registration: Until 9/23 - $30 (5K/10K), $15 (1-mile) - Last day to register and guarantee a t-shirt!
• Late Registration: 9/24 to 10/03 - $35 (5K/10K), $20 (1-mile) - T-shirt while supplies last.
• Day of Race: $40 (5K/10K), $20 (1-mile).

Course Information

• Trail: Beautiful paved trail along the Huron River.
• Location: Through Lower Huron Metropark.

Awards

• Overall Winners: 1st place Male and Female in 5K and 10K will receive $50 and a race medal.
• All Participants: Every finisher in the 5K and 10K will receive a race medal.
• Kids Fun Run: All kids participating in the 1-mile fun run will receive a participation medal.

Packet Pickup

• Event Timing: The 10K and 5K run event will be chip timed.
• Pickup Location: Pick up your race number, race t-shirt, and timing chip on the morning of the race.
• Arrive Early: Please arrive with sufficient time for pickup.

Race Day Details

• Registration Hours: 7:00 – 8:15 am.
• Pickup Location: A tent will be located just south of the bridge on Waltz Road near the starting line.
• Professional Timing: The race will be professionally chip timed by the Michigan Running Foundation.
• Results: Results will be posted during the race and on the website.
