🎉 Sugar Rush 5K and 1 Mile Cake Walk/Run
The Sugar Rush 5K and 1 Mile Cake Walk/Run benefits the nonprofit Dallas chapter of For Goodness Cakes.
- Mission: For Goodness Cakes matches volunteers to make and hand-deliver birthday & graduation cakes to children in foster care and youth overcoming adversity on their special day.
- Volunteering: Volunteer bakers, dubbed “the Sprinkle Squad,” have varied baking backgrounds. Some have professional training: others are home cooks who just love to bake.
- Impact: All are hungry to deliver joy to a child, a creative outlet for bakers who desire tangible ways to give back to the community.
🍰 Event Highlights
- FREE: Photo booth with digital and printed photos! Get the race day photos you always wanted with your friends!
- FREE: Finish line cake for all racers!
- CUSTOM: Race bibs with timing chips!
- Swag: The first 100 to register receive guaranteed race swag! There is NO on-site registration. Registration closes Friday, November 15, 11:59pm.

Saturday, November 16, 2024
- 7 am - 7:30 am: Packet pickup
- 7:30 am: 1 Mile Cake Walk/Run begins
- 8 am: Sugar Rush 5K race begins
Awards will follow approximately 15 minutes after the final finisher.
🏅 Awards
- Race medals and a Raising Cane's Kids Gift Basket awarded to the 1 Mile Cake Walk/Run Male and Female Overall Winners 12 and under
- Race medals awarded to: Sugar Rush 5K Run Male and Female Overall Winner
- 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place Male and Female winners: ages 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+
