Costume Contest

But that's not all—get ready for our Legendary Beast Costume Contest! Dress up as Bigfoot or any other legendary creature and compete for the title of crowd favorite. One lucky winner will take home the coveted "Legendary Beast" trophy and a custom Bigfoot Running Company prize pack.

Kids Dash

Don't miss the fun for the little ones—where tiny Yetis can run, dash, and be cheered on by a roaring crowd. Bigfoot himself will be there too, offering high-fives and posing for photos!

Race Distances Offered

• Kids Dash: A 50-meter dash for kids 10 and under, not timed, includes a tee shirt and special Kid's race medal.
• 1 Mile: For all ages and experience levels, not chip-timed, includes a tee shirt and race medal.
• 5K: Chip-timed 3.11 miles featuring overall trophies and age group awards.
• 10K: Chip-timed 6.22 miles with top prizes for male and female finishers.

Event Schedule:

• 7:30-8:45am: Packet Pickup
• 8:50am: Costume Contest
• 8:55am: Kids Dash
• 9:00am: National Anthem and Race Start!

Volunteering Opportunities

• Volunteer then Run: Includes a custom chip-timed bib, super soft tee, and an awesome finisher medal.
• Course Monitors: Provide safety at critical points on the route.
• Finish Line Helper: Assist the Race Director and share in participants' joy.
• Bigfoot Mascot: Wear the costume and cheer on participants for a fun experience!

• Weather Policy: Bigfoot races proceed rain, shine, hot or cold.
• Packet Pickup: Always offered for 1.5 hours before the event start time.
• Course Surfaces: Expect a mix of paved trails, crushed granite, and dirt paths.
• Shirt Guarantee: Cutoff is 10 days out from the event.
