🍁 Fall 8K Training Program Dates:
- Saturday, October 15th through Saturday, December 7th
🏃♂️ About The Program:
- Capacity and Strength: Increase from 2-3 miles to a long run of 5 miles
- Coached Runs: Up to four per week with tips on stretching and safety
- Graduation Race: Wright Stuff 8k on December 7, 2024
🗓️ Weekly Schedule:
- Tuesdays at 6:30pm – UMD Ludwig Field, College Park, MD
- Thursdays at 6:30pm – Herbert Wells Ice Rink
- Saturdays at 8:00am – Herbert Wells Ice Rink parking lot
- Sundays at 8:00am – Mission BBQ, Greenbelt, MD
*Locations subject to occasional changes communicated via email
💵 Program Costs:
- Training Fee: Non-refundable $50
- Club Membership: $20 individual/$25 family/$10 student
ℹ️ Program Requirements:
- Age: Participants must be at least 18 years old
- Running Ability: Walk/run 2 miles
- Membership: Active PGRC Club membership status
