Greasy-Gooney 10K

🏃‍♂️Race Information

Come on out to Warren County, Virginia (an hour west of the DC metropolitan area) for the Shenandoah Valley's most scenic road race! The 27th running of the Greasy-Gooney 10K will take place at 9:00 AM on Saturday 25 October 2025 in Browntown, about eight miles south of Front Royal.

🌳Course Details

• Distance: 6.2 miles
• Terrain: Road course through the foothills of the Blue Ridge
• Scenery: Gorgeous views of the mountains and countryside
• Challenge: Somewhat challenging course

🏆Awards

• Top Finishers: Awards for the top three overall
• Age Groups: Awards for the top three in mostly five-year age groups

💰Entry Fees

• With Premium: $30 early, $40 race day (includes a forest green running cap with the race logo)
• Without Premium: $24 early, $34 race day
• Discount: $2 off for members of the Shenandoah Valley Runners club

❤️Charity

All proceeds from the race will be donated to the Browntown Community Center Association and the Humane Society of Warren County.
