Race Overview
While originally planned to be only a 5K - these couch potatoes just couldn't muster the energy! For the enjoyment of ALL levels of spud muffins, we are offering a 5K AND 1K option!
Check-In Information
- Location: Both races will check-in at Lions Park (aka Town Park).
- Visual Route: A visual of the route will be available ahead of time, posted online, and physically when you check-in.
5K Details
- Start Time: The race begins at 8 AM.
- Check-In: Check-in will be from 7-7:45 AM.
- Finish Line: The race will end at the Town Hall (downtown).
- Perks: Runners receive a bag of Route 11 potato chips, a voucher for the potato bar, and a tee shirt.
Beginning at 9:30, there will be a hayride to bring you back to Lions Park (or you're welcome to walk/run back - approx. .4mi). All are welcome to stick around and enjoy TaterFest (10-5 PM): live music, local farmers market, the wine/brew garden, hayrides, tractor show & MORE!
1K Details
- Start Time: The race begins at 1 PM.
- Check-In: Check-in will be from 12-12:45 PM.
- Loop Location: The race will be made up of a loop in Lions Park (smack dab in the middle of TaterFest!).
- Perks: Racers receive a bag of Route 11 potato chips, a $5 coupon to Melted Dreams, and a tee shirt.
This race will be marked, but untimed, and awards will only be given for best costume!
