Ocean State 5K Trail Run

This run is open to all runners of all ages. The course is a beautiful 5k run through the trails along the bay and across the grasslands of Goddard Park. T-shirts available for all entrants.

• 5K Start Time: 7:30 am
• Location: Goddard Park, 1095 St. Ives Rd., Warwick, RI
• Start/Finish: Near Golf Course Clubhouse

Entry Fees

• 1/1/26 - 8/31/26: $30
• 9/1/26 - 9/25/26: $34
• 9/26/26: $40
• Note: Race day registration begins at 7:00 AM. T-shirt not guaranteed for race day registrants.

Online registration closes at midnight on September 25th, 2026.

Course

• Location: Goddard Park, 1095 Ives Road, Warwick, RI 02818.
• Distance: 5K (3.1 miles), fast flat course.
• Start/Finish: Adjacent to the clubhouse for the public golf course.

Eligibility

Open to all ages: runners, joggers, and walkers.

Directions

From the North: Rte. 95 S to exit 9 (left-hand exit) onto Rte. 4 S. Immediately exit at Rte. 401/East Greenwich. Right at light onto 401/Division St. One mile curve right onto First Ave. Turn right at light onto Main St. One-half mile at light, turn left onto Old Forge Rd. Old Forge becomes Ives Rd. One mile to park entrance on left.
From the South: Rte. 95 N to exit 8A/Rte. 2 S. At first light, turn left onto Rte. 401 E/Division St. Follow directions above.

Parking

Ample parking available within the park.

Facilities

Bathrooms available. No lockers or showers available at race site. Tents/canopies under 300 square feet permitted.
