Palmetto Bluff Turkey Trot 5K and Kids Fun Run

🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

Join Palmetto Bluff on Thanksgiving Day for an annual tradition - the Palmetto Bluff Turkey Trot 5K and a kid's “Turkey Chase” fun run around Village Square. All proceeds from the registration fees will be donated to Memory Matters, a non-profit organization supporting families and individuals living with Alzheimer's disease and related dementias.

📍 Race Details

• Starting Point: The race starts in front of the River House in Wilson Village.
• Course: Runs through beautiful Palmetto Bluff, a perfect one-loop course.
• Activities: Pre-race, kids can participate in the “Turkey Frisbee Toss” and win a chocolate turkey.
• Refreshments: On course electrolytes and post-race refreshments will be available for all participants.

🕘 Race Schedule

Race starts at 9:00 AM.

📅 Packet Pickup

• General Public: Race packet pick up is on Sunday, November 24th, 2024, 1-4 PM at the New Palmetto Running Company, 25 Minetta Lane, Bluffton.
• Palmetto Bluff Residents: Packets may be picked up on November 27th, 2024, at the Chapel next to the Wilson Village Green from 1 PM to 5 PM.
• Online Registration: Closes at 11:59 AM on Sunday, November 17th with a guaranteed t-shirt (sizes not guaranteed).
• Fees: Adult registration fee is $35, and kids fun run is $25. Adult registration drops to $25 without guaranteed t-shirt, closing at 11:59 AM on Monday, November 25th.

🏆 Awards

• Trophies: Overall turkey trophies to top overall finishers male and female.
• Medals: Awarded to top 3 in each age division: 12U, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+.
• Dog Awards: Plus, Top 3 dog finishers!
• Registration Info: NO RACE DAY REGISTRATION AVAILABLE.
