• Event: Join Babcock Ranch for the 5th Annual Thanks 4 Giving 5K Run/Walk on 11/29/25.
• Support: Thanks 4 Giving 5K supports Babcock Neighborhood School. Any proceeds above costs will go to the school.
• Shirts: All runners and walkers will receive a custom-designed Thanks 4 Giving 5K - dri-fit short-sleeved shirt, available in youth and adult sizes. The shirt cutoff date is midnight 11/16/2025.
• Location: 42911 Lake Babcock Drive, Punta Gorda, FL

📅 Key Dates

• Early Packet Pickup: Wednesday, November 26, 2025, 12 p.m. - 3 p.m. at Babcock Ranch Lifestyle Office.
• Race Day Packet Pickup: 6:45 a.m. - 7:45 a.m. at Babcock Ranch Founder's Square.
• Race Day Registration: 6:45 a.m. - 7:45 a.m.
• Race Start Time: 8:00 a.m.

🍏 Event Details

• Parking: Free parking is available near the starting area.
• Post-Race: There will be post-race snacks and awards.
• Timing: The race is chip-timed by Beach Bum Timing.
• Facilities: Bathrooms are located at the start and finish areas. The water stop for race participants will be at the halfway mark.

• Categories: Age group awards are based on off-chip time.
• Overall Awards: 1st Place Overall Awards - Male & Female.
• Masters Awards: 1st Place Masters, Grand Masters, Senior Grand Masters - Male & Female.
• Age Groups: In-person awards to the top three M/F in age groups: 9 and under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+.

• Is this a timed race? Yes, the 5K is chip-timed.
• What is the course surface like? The course is a mixture of asphalt, hard-packed shell, and mulch.
• Are dogs allowed on the course? You may run with your dog, but you assume ALL responsibility for your dog. You must maintain proper social distancing and pick up after your pooch.
• Are strollers allowed on the course? Yes.
