🦃 Purpose of the Event
- History: Now in its 5th decade, the annual Helena Turkey Trot is a fun run / fundraiser to celebrate the holiday and support local charities.
- Charities Supported: Helps support Helena Food Share (2017 & before), Shodair Children's Hospital (2018-19), Girls Thrive (2022), Impact Montana (2023), and Helena Vigilante Runners / Helena Novas Youth XC/TF (2024-26).
🏃♂️ Race Details
- Time: 10:00 am on race day
- Distances: Participants can choose from 1k (one small clockwise loop), 5k (one big clockwise loop), or 10k (two big clockwise loops).
- Course: All courses are very flat and fast, although some years traction is advisable.
- Timing: Note that this is an un-timed fun run event.
🍽️ Post-Race Festivities
- Refreshments: After the race, bagels and fruit will be served.
- Prizes: Random drawing for turkeys and pies!
- Drawing Time: DRAWING AT 11:00 am. Must be present to win.
