Get ready to lace up, light up, and trot into the holidays with us at the Active Texan Tinsel Trot—a festive evening 5K, 10K, and 1-mile family fun run at beautiful Lake Walk in Bryan-College Station!

• Friends and Family: Bring your friends, your family, your running club, or your coworkers—this is more than just a race: it’s a community celebration to close out the year Active Texan-style.
• Holiday Party: As the sun sets, the Lake Walk Pavilion will transform into a glowing holiday party complete with:
• Activities: Holiday tunes, food trucks & hot chocolate, festive games & selfie stations
• Post-Race: Celebration on the Green

🏅 Race Details

• Date: Saturday, December 20, 2025
• Time: 4:30 PM start for one mile, 5pm start for 10k, and 5:05pm start for 5k
• Location: Lake Walk Pavilion, Bryan, TX
• Events: 10K • 5K • 1-Mile Kids/Family Fun Run

Timing: Professionally chip-timed races for the 5K and 10K

All participants will receive a finisher medal, and 5K/10K runners will also receive an official race t-shirt and sponsor swag.
🏆 Awards for Top 3 Overall Male & Female Finishers in both 5K and 10K divisions.

💡 A Few Tips

• Headlamps: Recommended for 10K runners, as portions of the course will be after dark.
• Route: Well-lit by streetlights, and we’ll keep things merry and bright with glow sticks and bracelets for all participants.
• Spirit: Costumes and holiday spirit are highly encouraged!
