• Celebration: Get ready to lace up, light up, and trot into the holidays with us at the 3rd Annual Active Texan Tinsel Trot—a festive evening 5K, 10K, and 1-mile family fun run at beautiful Lake Walk in Bryan-College Station!
• Community: Bring your friends, your family, your running club, or your coworkers—this is more than just a race: it's a community celebration to close out the year Active Texan-style.
• Holiday Party: As the sun sets, the Lake Walk Pavilion will transform into a glowing holiday party.
• Activities: Enjoy holiday tunes, food trucks & hot chocolate, festive games & selfie stations, and a post-race celebration on the Green.

Timing and Awards

• Timing: Professionally chip-timed races for the 5K and 10K.
• Participant Perks: All participants will receive a finisher medal, t-shirt, and sponsor swag.
• Awards: Awards for the Top 3 Overall Male & Female Finishers in both the 5K and 10K divisions.

Tips for Runners

• Headlamps: Recommended for 10K runners, as portions of the course will take place after dark.
• Lighting: The route is well-lit by streetlights, and we’ll keep things merry and bright with glow sticks and bracelets for all participants.
• Costumes: Costumes and holiday spirit are highly encouraged!
• Details: More details on packet pickup, course maps, parking, and race week information will be shared closer to race day.
