Jameson 5K

🏃‍♂️ Jameson 5K Overview

• Event Start: The Jameson 5K at Southwestern began in 2001 as a way of honoring the memory of Jaysn Flynn Jameson.
• Scholarship Fund: Proceeds will increase the endowment of the Jaysn Jameson Memorial Scholarship Fund at Southwestern University.
• 25th Annual Race: This year, we hope to have a BIG turnout and raise more than $40K.
• Donation Goal: Our goal is to reach a total of $300K donated from the race proceeds.

🌳 Event Details

• Date: The 25th Annual event will take place on Saturday, October 25, 2025.
• Location: The race will be on the Cross-Country Course at Southwestern University.
• Virtual Participation: Participants can run the 5K or walk the 1 Mile on any route, in any city during the weekend of October 24-26, 2025.
• Timing: Virtual participants must time themselves to report their results.

🎉 Post-Race Events

• Trophies: The 5K event will be timed for trophies presented during the post-race party.
• Door Prizes: Only available to in-person participants on Saturday morning.
• Silent Auction: Held the morning of the event with bids starting during packet pickup on October 24.
• Homecoming Auction: A separate Silent Auction will occur during the afternoon picnic of Homecoming.
