🎓 Event Purpose

Lace up your running shoes and get ready to show some serious appreciation! We're thrilled to announce our 2nd annual Run for a Cause- Teacher and Staff Appreciation 5K, a special event designed to celebrate the incredible dedication and hard work of our school's educators and support staff. This fun-filled 5K run/walk isn't just about getting active: it's a fantastic opportunity for students, parents, and the community to come together and express gratitude for those who shape young minds and keep our schools running smoothly. Whether you're a seasoned runner aiming for a personal best or prefer a leisurely stroll with friends, every step you take will contribute to a meaningful show of support for the tireless efforts of our teachers and staff. Join us as we hit the pavement to celebrate their invaluable contributions to our community!

✨ Race Features

• Course: Unique paved course looping through the LexMark International campus
• T-shirts: Commemorative unisex sized T-shirts (Adult and Youth sizes)
• Events: 5K Run/Walk (timed), 1 Mile Fun Walk (untimed)
• Awards: Overall Top 3 M/F and Top 3 M/F in various age group categories
• Team Prize: Form a SUPER SCHOOL TEAM and if you have 10 or more on your team you may win a prize!
• Photos: Free Race Photos
• Entertainment: DJ Playing Great Music
• Activities: Food, Fun & Fellowship for a great cause

⏰ Race Day Schedule

• 7:30AM: Race Day Packet Pickup and Registration Opens
• 8:40AM: Welcome & Race Announcements
• 8:45AM: Warm-up Dale Robinson, GURU
• 9:00AM: Run For A Cause 5K START
• 9:02AM: 1 Mile Fun Walk start
• 10:00AM: Awards Ceremony (Overall, Age Group and Team Awards)

📦 Packet Pickup Information

PACKET PICKUP: Our packet pickup plans will be announced closer to the race date. We will definitely have race morning PPU from 7:30-8:45 am leading up to the race start.

All are encouraged to register online in advance of the race. We will not be taking cash or checks at the race.
