Race Overview

Do you like to run (or walk)? Do you love to drink beer? Do you think St Patrick's Day should be a week-long national holiday?

Us too. And we have the perfect event for you!

Event Details

• Date: 2026-03-14
• Location: Oden Brewing Company, Greensboro, NC
• Course: The Running of the Leprechauns starts at Oden Brewing and tours the UNCG campus before ending back at Oden Brewing.
• Event Type: Chip-timed event and part of The Race Series.

Leprechaun Stroll

Not feeling the full 5K? Check out the "Leprechaun Stroll".

• Distance: Untimed walk through parts of the course (less than 1 mile).
• Inclusions: Race swag bag, race shirt (while supplies are available), and one delicious brew.

Leprechaun Kids Dash

NEW in 2026, bring the kiddos out for the Leprechaun Kids Dash!

• Eligibility: Designed for youth 8 and under.
• Course: Short course that is untimed.

Participant Giveaways

Race giveaways for all participants include:

• Shirt: Commemorative short-sleeved blend shirt (while supplies last).
• Gift: Special finisher’s gift.
• Beer: A craft beer from Oden Brewing (21+ up).
• Awards: Awards ceremony will take place at Oden!

Family & Friends

By the way, we are family/stroller & pet friendly too!

You can also be a part of the fun without the run and volunteer or just come spectate! All are welcome at this event.

Best Dressed Leprechaun Contest

Think you’ve got what it takes to be the best dressed Leprechaun?

• Participation: All are invited to participate.
• Prize: Top leprechaun, as decided by the judges, will receive a $75 gift card to Oden Brewing!
• Dress Code: Come dressed to impress!
• Signup Time: Best dressed signups are 8:30 AM-10:30 AM race day ONLY.

Awarding Ceremony

Judging and awards will be immediately following the awards ceremony.
