🍀 Race Overview

Do you like to run or walk? Do you love to drink beer and think St Patrick's Day should be a week-long national holiday? Then we have the event for you! The Running of the Leprechauns in Greensboro, NC.

🏃‍♂️ Race Details

• Location: Oden Brewing Company, Greensboro, NC.
• Start: The run starts at Oden Brewing and tours the UNCG campus.
• Finish: The race ends back at Oden Brewing for the soon-to-be-famous Saturday before St. Paddy's Leprechaun celebration.
• Timing: This is a chip timed event and a part of The Race Series. All finishers receive series points for participation.

🚶‍♀️ Leprechaun Stroll

Not up to a 5K? Check out the "Leprechaun stroll" registration option above. You will participate in an untimed stroll through parts of the course (less than 1 mile) and still get the race swag bag, race shirt (while supplies are available), and two delicious brews.

👶 Kids Dash

New in 2026, bring in the littles for the Leprechaun Kids Dash! This short course is untimed and designed for youth 8 and under.

🎁 Race Giveaways

• Shirt: A commemorative short-sleeved blend shirt (while supplies last).
• Gift: A special finisher’s gift.
• Craft Beer: Craft beer from Oden Brewing.
• Awards Ceremony: The awards ceremony will take place at Oden!

Don't like to run? Be a part of the fun without the run and volunteer or just come spectate! All are welcome at this event.

👗 Best Dressed Contest

CHECK THIS OUT:
Think you’ve got what it takes to be the best dressed Leprechaun? All are invited to participate. The top leprechaun, as decided by the judges, will receive a $100 gift card to Oden Brewing! Come dressed to impress. Best dressed signups are 8:30 AM-10:30 AM on race day ONLY, with judging and awards immediately following the awards ceremony.
