The Cannonball Running Festival is the LARGEST celebration of running in our region.

Race Details

• Date: 2026-10-16
• Location: 3802 Jaycee Park Drive, Greensboro, NC
• Race Distances: Full Marathon, Half Marathon, 10K, 5K, Kids Dash, and a bonus challenge option.
• Start/Finish: All events start and finish in Country Park, Greensboro's running Mecca.

Whether a veteran to distance running or a relative newbie, this event is a MUST DO for the course, the schwag, the glory, and the PARTY!

• Local Breweries: Local craft breweries pour all day Saturday for participants and spectators.
• Craft Brews: Participants have two craft brews included with their race registration.
• Charity Support: All funds generated from beer sales go directly to our charity partner, Brenner Children's.
• Join the Celebration: Enjoy the party atmosphere with friends and family!

The Double Barrel Challenge

The Double Barrel Challenge allows for a unique evening race opportunity on Friday night.

• Evening 5K: Race Friday night and participate in either the 10K, half marathon, or marathon on Saturday.
• Challenge Benefits: Participants receive two shirts and two custom finisher medals.
• Bonus Bling: Earn extra rewards for completing the Double Barrel Challenge.
• Bragging Rights: Enjoy extra beer and the satisfaction of completing the challenge!

Participant Perks

• Finishers Medal: All race participants will receive a custom finishers medal.
• T-Shirt: Each participant will receive a race t-shirt.
