PTI 5k/10k Run on the Runway

Event Overview

The PTI 5k/10k Run on the Runway will take place on April 3, 2027, on the airport’s 9,000-foot parallel runway.

Who Can Participate

• Open to All: Everyone is invited to run, walk, stroll, or roll on the runway!
• Course Features: With a flat, smooth course built for speed, it’s a great place to chase a personal best — or simply enjoy one of the most unique views in the Triad.
• Accessibility: The course is wheelchair accessible and stroller friendly, making it a fun experience for runners and walkers of all ages and paces.
• Unique Experience: Run on the Runway is your once-a-year chance to get an up-close look at the airport and runways from a perspective most people never get to see.

Safety Guidelines

• Secure Environment: Because this event takes place in a secure airport environment, safety rules are part of the flight plan.
• Prohibited Items: Bikes, rollerblades, and inline skates are not permitted.
• No Pets: Dogs and other pets are also prohibited.
• Community Safety: Thanks for helping us keep the runway safe, secure, and ready for takeoff!
