Winterfest 1 Mile Fun Run and 5k

🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

• Event: Join us for the inaugural Winterfest 1 Mile Fun Run and 5k presented by Tryon International.
• Date: 2025-11-28
• Location: 70 Legends Circle, Mill Spring, NC
• Accessibility: This fun run/walk on Black Friday is hosted at the Tryon International Equestrian Center for all ages and abilities. This is a family-friendly event.

👕 Registration Information

• Deadline: Register by November 21st to guarantee your race day t-shirt. Sign-ups after this date do not guarantee a shirt.
• Race Entry: Registration for the race also includes one (1) free entry into Winterfest Village, presented by Coca-Cola®.
• Pricing:
  • October 22nd - November 21st: 5K: $30, 1 Mile: $20 (includes t-shirt and one (1) free admission to Winterfest Village).
  • November 21st and later: 5K: $45 (no t-shirt guaranteed), 1 Mile: $30 (no t-shirt guaranteed).
• Groups: Groups (Families/Friends) registering 10+ participants together under one account will receive a $5 discount - updated 11/22/24.

🍻 Post-Race Celebration

• Beer: BIG NEWS - Ironkey Brewing has agreed to provide free beer to all race participants over 21 after the race. Wristbands will be given at check-in. Please be prepared with your ID.
• Light Show: Experience the Shadrack's Drive through Light Show powered by Stuller Power Solutions (6-11 pm) after the race (requires additional admission purchase).

📅 Day-Of Schedule

• Packet Pick-up: Will begin at 3:00 PM on race day in the General Store.

🚗 Parking

• Availability: Plenty of parking in any of the lots at Tryon. Please use the main venue entrance.

⏱️ Chip Timing

• Timing Company: This event will be timed by SnapTiming. Results can be found at snaptiming.com.

🥇 Course Information

• Strollers: We encourage the use of jogging strollers along the route of this family-friendly course.
• Dogs: Out of consideration for other participants, dogs will not be allowed on the course (with the exception of service dogs).
• Bikes: For the safety and convenience of all participants, bikes are NOT permitted.
• Children: Children in strollers are not required to register (but will not receive shirts). All ages are welcome. We encourage Thanksgiving/Winter costumes & accessories!

• Winterfest: Coca-Cola® presents Winterfest at Tryon International powered by Stuller Power Solutions November 29-December 31. Winterfest features a dazzling drive-through light show, ice skating, shopping, and a Winterfest Village hosted weekends in December with holiday attractions, kids activities, live music and performances, and so much more.
