The Food & Nutrition Network is proud to present the 32nd annual Pioneer Pace 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, March 28th, 2026 at 8:30 am. All proceeds will support the Tarrant Area Food Bank which serves over 146,000 households every year, and the North Texas Food Bank which provides over 70 million meals every year to local hungry and food insecure people.
🏃♂️ Race Location
The race takes place around the beautiful TWU campus. It starts and finishes at the Old Main Circle.

Winning Categories Awarded Trophy for 1st place, 2nd & 3rd place medals!
- Top 3: Under 18 (5k)
- Top 3: Male (Ages 18+, 5k)
- Top 3: Female (Ages 18+, 5k)
🕒 Race Day Schedule
Please plan to arrive by 7:30 am to pick up your race day runner bag and/or register if you didn’t do so before. Before the race you may want to checkout our sponsors, enter the giveaway, stretch, socialize, and take pictures. Race announcements and dynamic warm-up will start by 8:15 am, so everyone is ready to start the 5k or 2-mile run, fun run/walk by 8:30 am. Stay tuned after for winners, tacos, giveaways and more.
- 7:15 am - 8:00 am: Runner bag pick up & Race day registration
- 8:00 - 8:15 am: Race Announcements
- 8:15 - 8:30 am: Dynamic warm-up
- 8:30 am: Race will officially begin
- 9:45 - 10:30 am: Results Announcements, Giveaways, and Awards Ceremony
