ANC Critter Crawl 5k and Yeti Dash

🎉 Race Overview

The Alabama Nature Center (ANC) will host the Critter Crawl 5K and Yeti Dash February 15th, 2025! This 5K trail run is like no other! The Critter Crawl is a TRAIL RUN benefiting the ANC education programs that takes runners through a portion of the ANC's 5 mile trail system.

🏃‍♂️ Yeti Dash Details

You will not want to miss out on the ANC Yeti Dash!

• Distance: 1 mile trail system run.
• Costumes: Nature/critter costumes are mandatory for any guests who wish to participate.
• Medals: One medal will be awarded to the first place finisher in each age group category.
• Theme: This is an all-out race to beat the Yeti, can you survive?

👕 Registration Information

Shirts are guaranteed for participants registering before January 31, 2025. Extras will be ordered but run out fast.

• Critter Crawl 5k Day of fee: $30
• ANC Yeti Dash Day of fee: $25

🎶 Event Festivities

In addition to the races, there will be music, food, and vendors!

• Door Prizes: Be sure to hang around after the race for a door prize give away.
• Trophy Ceremony: Trophy ceremony will take place after the races.
• Activities for Kids: There will be lots of room for kids to play.
• Dress Warmly: Make sure to wear warm athletic clothes since it will likely be cold.

⏰ Schedule of Events

The race times are as follows:

• 7:30 am: Registration Station open for packet pickup
• 8:30 am: Critter Crawl 5k Race Start
• 9:30 am: Yeti Dash Start
• 10:30 am: Trophy Ceremony (tentative)

📦 Packet Pickup

Participants may pick up their race packets Friday February 14th 1pm-5pm. The course will be open that afternoon for individuals who want to see the course prior to the race.

🐾 Pet Policy

Although we cherish our furry friends, the Alabama Nature Center has a NO pet policy at this time. We ask that you leave your pets at home for this race. This excludes service aid dogs.
