🥞 Welcome to DRC's Breakfast Bash - 5 Miles

The Dallas Running Club ("DRC" or "Club") was created in 1969 as a grassroots running club to build and support the Dallas running community. Tal Morrison was the founder and he started the Club by stopping runners he saw out on White Rock Lake and getting their contact information to invite them to join him for a run. The Dallas Running Club still remains a grassroots running club serving the Dallas running community for over 50 years. The Club offers five club races, of varying distances, and two half marathons a year. The half marathons help fund the Tal Morrison Scholarship Fund. This is a scholarship that was created in honor of the Club’s founder who had a passion for health and fitness. The scholarships provide assistance to graduating students that have an active participation in their school’s cross-country running program.

While DRC’s races may be small but they are full of heart. DRC is a one hundred percent volunteer organization. The Club is a success because of those who choose to give of their time to the Dallas running community. We are happy you are here to join us for a race and hope you consider volunteering.

IT IS TIME FOR BREAKFAST! Join the Dallas Running Club on Saturday, March 1, 2025 for the return of the DRC's Breakfast Bash 5-Miles. Race will begin and end at The Stone Tables, 711 E. Lawther Dr., Dallas, TX 75218

• WHEN: Saturday, March 1, 2025 at 8:00 a.m.

• PRICING: FREE for DRC Members: $20.00 for Non-Members
• DISTANCE OPTION: 5-mile

🏃‍♀️ General Race Notes

• Bib Pick-up: occurs race morning at The Stone Tables, 6:15 a.m. - 7:50 a.m.
• Course Start/End: The race will begin & end on the trail
• Early Arrival: You are encouraged to arrive early to avoid long lines at Bib Pick-up.
• Awards: Awards will be given to overall winners as well as age group awards (10 year increments).
• Attendance Required: Awards will not be mailed, you need to be in attendance to receive your award. Arrangements for pick-up at 2024 DRC race events may be made.
• Strollers: Strollers are permitted, but for safety we ask that you start at the back and keep to the right while on the course.
• Pets: The course is not pet friendly due to insurance restrictions.
• Parking: Parking is available at Dreyfuss Club and the Bath House. You can enter parking at Northcliff Drive from Buckner Blvd. Tiffany Way will be blocked due to race vehicles/equipment. Please do not block drive ways, other cars or walk ways.
• Race Swag: In order for DRC to provide free Club Races for members and discounted fee for non-members there is no swag (i.e. no race shirt or finisher medal).
• Registration: There is No race day registration.

🦠 COVID Protocols

If you have any of these symptoms, PLEASE STAY HOME. There will be future DRC events when you feel better, so please put yours and others safety first:

• Fever: temperature of 100°F / 38°C, or greater
• Cough: persistent coughing
• Shortness of Breath: difficulty breathing
• Loss of Taste or Smell: sudden changes in senses
• Dizziness: feeling lightheaded
• Body Aches or Chills: general discomfort
