Join us on Saturday, January 31st, 2026, as Rome H.S. hosts the 8th Annual Wolf Nation 5K & Wolf Cub 1 Mi. Run/Walk. The race has consistently drawn over 200 runners & walkers each year.

5K Start: 9:00am
1 Mile Start: 9:45am
Awards Ceremony: 10:15am

💰 Proceeds and Donations

Proceeds and Donations from this annual race will benefit Rome's Cross Country/Track & Field teams and will help to build our running programs.

🏃‍♂️ Course Details

The course is relatively flat, it's quite fast, and it will once again be professionally timed using RFID electronic chip technology by Wire2Wire Running.

💲 Entry Fees

5K: $30 (Note: $40 on race day)
1 Mile: $15 (Note: $20 on race day)
Reminder: T-shirt size guaranteed to all who register by Thursday, January 23rd.

📝 Pre-Registration

Online Pre-Registration: Officially closes at 11:00pm, Sunday, January 25th, 2026.
Paper Registration: Manual/Paper Registration is due at the RHS main office by Friday, January 23rd, 2026 at 3:30 pm.

📅 Race Day Registration

You may register at Rome High School on Saturday morning, beginning at 7:30am. Race Day registration closes at 8:45am.

🏆 Awards

5K Overall: Awards will be given to the Top Three (3) Overall M&F finishers, as well as the Top Master M&F.

5K Age Groups: Awards will be given to the Top Three (3) male/female finishers in each of several age groups ranging from 10 & Under to 70 & Over.

Wolf Cub 1 Mile Run/Walk: Awards will be given on race day to the Top 3 finishers (male & female) for ages 3-8, 9-12, and 13-17.
