The Deaf-initely Can 5K and Fun Run is a run/walk event that benefits students attending the Wichita Falls Regional Day School Program for the Deaf. Your participation supports:

🎓 Beneficial Contributions

Field Trips: Fund field trips for preschoolers-seniors to build vocabulary from real-life experiences.
Competitions: Support teens in competitions with other students across the state.
Learning Materials: Supply extra learning materials for students and families throughout the year.
Workshops: Sponsor workshops for parents and educators to improve communication strategies and support.

🌍 Community and Support

Transportation: Fund transportation for students to attend cultural events and community activities.
Technology: Provide technology like hearing aids and assistive devices to help students thrive in the classroom.
Social Events: Organize social events to help Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing students build friendships and peer support.

📍 Serving the Community

Wichita Falls Regional Day School Program for the Deaf serves over 100 Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing students across Region 9, including Wichita Falls ISD, Burkburnett ISD, and neighboring SSAs. Your support helps us provide language-rich experiences from infancy through high school.
