Deaf-initely Can 5K & Fun Run

Event Overview

The Deaf-initely Can 5K and Fun Run is a run/walk event that benefits students attending the Wichita Falls Regional Day School Program for the Deaf.

Your Participation Supports

• Field trips: for preschoolers–seniors to build vocabulary from real-life experiences.
• Extra materials: for teachers, students, and families throughout the year.
• Workshops: for parents and educators to improve communication strategies and support.
• Transportation: for students to attend Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing activities.

• Hearing Assistive Technology: to help students thrive in the classroom.
• Social events: to help students build lifelong friendships and peer support.
• Critical program needs: fulfillment as they arise throughout the year.

About the Program

The Wichita Falls Regional Day School Program for the Deaf serves over 100 Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing students across Region 9, including Wichita Falls ISD, Burkburnett ISD, and neighboring SSAs. Your support helps us provide language-rich experiences from infancy through high school.
