A Thanksgiving Day Tradition for a Good Cause!
- Event Overview: Perfect for a family outing, the Memorial Park Turkey Trot is one of Omaha's longest-running Thanksgiving day races.
- Participation: Runners, walkers, and everyone in between are more than welcome to participate.
- Entry Requirement: To enter, simply bring 5 cans of food or a monetary donation, all of which will be given to the Food Bank for the Heartland.
- Costume Bonus: Unofficial bonus points to those who wear a costume :)
Location
- Meeting Point: Meet us at the Memorial Park Roundabout on Thanksgiving Day at 9AM!
- Parking: Parking is available around the roundabout, or on the streets in the neighborhood to the north of the Park.
Route
- Starting Point: The Trot will begin from the Memorial Park Monument.
- Path: Runners and walkers will take off east around the roundabout and hang a right on Underwood Avenue.
- Loop Distances: They will then loop around the entire park once for a 2.5K or twice for 5K.
