Walk Details
Distance: 2-5 miles (Seneca Loop- Seneca Park)
- Flexibility: We are proud to offer flexible route options for participants who prefer a shorter distance.
- Accessibility: Wheelchair and scooter accessible
- Assistance: Golf cart available for anyone who may need assistance completing the route
Check-in begins: 10:00 AM
Walk starts: 11:00 AM

Children ages 10–17: $20. Children 10 and under are free. Children in strollers are free but do not receive a t-shirt.

NEW! Virtual Walk to End Parkinson’s
Parkinson’s disease touches lives everywhere — and now, so can our walk. The Virtual Walk to End Parkinson’s allows participants from near and far to join us in movement and mission, no matter where they live. Patients, caregivers, families, providers, and advocates can all take part.
- Flexibility: Walk anytime between now and our to-be-announced date.
- Choose Your Location: In your neighborhood, on a local trail, on a treadmill, or with your support group.
- Participation: Walk solo, with your dog, or gather friends and family.
- Inclusivity: Wheelchairs, walkers, and strollers are always welcome.

- Dress Up: Dress to impress – Rock your NPI gear or go bold in blue for our Most Spirited Photo Contest
- Team Formation: Form a team – Rally family, coworkers, or workout buddies and fundraise together
Make an Even Bigger Impact
Take your participation a step further by becoming a fundraiser or creating a team. Walk in honor of a loved one, a support group, or your community.
During registration, you’ll have the option to set up a personal or team fundraising page. After registering, log into your RunSignUp account to customize your page, then share your link with friends and family to invite them to walk or donate.
Support the National Parkinson’s Institute
The National Parkinson’s Institute (NPI) is dedicated to improving the lives of people living with Parkinson’s disease right here in Louisville, Kentucky. Every dollar raised stays local and directly supports our community.
- Program Support: Provide free and low-cost programs like boxing, dance, pickleball, and support groups
- Research Funding: Fund research and educational seminars
- Resources: Offer resources and one-on-one support for individuals and families navigating a Parkinson’s diagnosis
- Community Events: Host impactful community events including the Red Tulip Gala, Pickleball for Parkinson’s, and the Walk to End Parkinson’s
